A Great Toronto Truck and Forklift Driving School Inc. was founded in 1996 and is located in the province of Ontario. The school offers training in heavy truck driving and guarantees job placement on completion of the course, either on a permanent or temporary basis. A Great Toronto Truck and Forklift Driving School Inc. has been recognized by the Ontario Safety League, the Ministry of Vocational School Trainers, HRDC, WSIB and Ontario (Works).
A Great Toronto Truck and Forklift Driving School Inc. offers training on a one-to-one basis in order to make students more comfortable during their driving experience. The school works in conjunction with Schneider International and Overseas Courier and a number of graduates have found employment in these companies. The school has also provided a number of temporary employment opportunities to its graduates. It is through these contacts that A Great Toronto Truck and Forklift Driving School Inc. is able to ensure job placement for its students. Guidance in resume preparation is also offered to all graduates.
Among the programs offered are AZ, BZ, CZ, DZ air brake endorsement courses. A specialized lift-truck / propane course is also available and provides a certification from the Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario. The school also offers corporate training in defensive driving, pre-trip inspections, the importance of maintaining log books, backing maneuvers, road rules and regulations as well as driver orientation.
