Beauty Exchange Inc. offers several programs that can lead up to diplomas and certificates in beauty, health and wellness fields. It offers programs in the fields of esthetics, holistic and business. The institution was founded by Dina Fodero who believed in training women and empowering them to be self reliant.
The facility includes a full service spa that offers student and professional services. This makes it possible for the students to practice their skills as well as to get first hand work experience. The class is limited to about 12 students enabling them to get personalized training. The instructors are well qualified and experienced individuals who are friendly and accessible. Students are given training using the latest equipments and quality products.
Beauty Exchange Inc. offers students training in business aspects too. This enables them to operate their own salons. The students are also given help in writing their resumes and tips on how to attend interviews. The students are offered placement assistance too. Successful students can be self employed or they may work in other salons, spas, as instructors, as skin care technicians, nail technicians, esthetics experts etc.
The esthetics program is offered both full and part-time. It consists of 500 hours of theory and 500 hours of practical application and full-time students usually complete the program in 6 months time. On successful graduation they become fully-trained estheticians.
The institution offers a scholarship to students who graduate with honors to be used for their continued education.
