Can-Weld Can-Fab Training and Testing Centre was founded in 1999. It is a registered Private Career College located in the city of Sarnia in Canada. The college is accredited by the Central Welding Board for TSSA testing. Can - Weld provides job experience to students through a fully operational fabrication facility located in the testing center.
Welding training programs have three training sessions per day. Classes are conducted on weekdays. Evening sessions are available from Mondays to Thursdays. Instructors are qualified and experienced. Classes may be customized according to the needs of students. Practice coupons and re-certification coupons are available on request.
The Welding course consists of subjects such as welding theory and application, shielded metal arc welding, semi-automatic metal inert gas arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, flux cored arc welding, basic blue print reading and exotic metals. Facilities at Can - Weld Training and Testing Center consist of 15 welding booths that are equipped with a Thermal Arc Fabricator welding machine and other applicable tools.
Can - Weld Training and Testing Center also has a 53 foot Welding on Wheels truck with 10 fully equipped air conditioned welding booths to train students in remote areas. Financial Assistance is available to eligible students who apply. After completion of the course, students have to take C.W.B. & T.S.S.A Certification tests. Steel companies in the area usually employ graduates as welding technicians.
