It is also in the process of undergoing accreditation with the Canadian Medical Association. The Alberta College of Paramedics recognizes its paramedical programs. Canadian College of Emergency Medical Services is very particular about its faculty members who are selected with care to ensure they are well-trained and qualified individuals with years of practical experience in the field. It offers programs such as Emergency Medical Responder & three levels of First Aid, which are popular with students who wish to join the police or fire department. The institution also offers Automated External Defibrillator training.
It also offers a National Academy For Professional Driving two-day program that comprises of theory as well as practical sessions. The students have to pass a written exam as well as four driving exercises.
