Canadian College of Emergency Medical Services is recognized by the Alberta Government Department of Workplace Health & Safety, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. It is also in the process of undergoing accreditation with the Canadian Medical Association. The Alberta College of Paramedics recognizes its paramedical programs. The institution also offers Automated External Defibrillator training. It also offers a National Academy For Professional Driving two-day program that comprises of theory as well as practical sessions. The students have to pass a written exam as well as four driving exercises.
