Canadian School of Modern Broadcasting, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, was established by Jacquie Hammond and Jay Hamilton. They created a program that would have a fine balance of the academic aspects as well as the practical aspects of radio broadcasting. The radio-broadcasting program at Canadian School of Modern Broadcasting ensures that the students learn to write and produce daily as well as weekly shows. They are also required to learn how to edit and host the programs. They are also encouraged to work in a team helping them become excellent team performers. They are also taught to work in the marketing and sales departments too.
