Canadian Trucking Academy was established by Mr. Dominique Cadieux who desired to introduce a school which met the needs of the various students.
Success rate of students in the Canadian Trucking Academy is high as the students are given first hand practical training. The instructors are highly qualified individuals who are professional, patient, open- minded and caring. The programs are offered in a flexible schedule and at competitive rates. Students are also given job placement assistance. The school offers different machinery experiences such as dropdeck, double dropdeck, step deck, dry van and flatbed. The students are not only trained to delivering loads but also also offered training in cross border runs.
The Institution offers a Class A, C, Z with 2 weeks Over the Road Program comprising of about 200 hours of training. The students are given 40 hours of classroom and 40 hours of practical training with 120 hours of over the road training. Students are trained for the written MTO test. It also offers Class A, C, Z with 1 week Over the Road Program comprising of 140 hours of which 60 hours are devoted to over the road training. The Class A, C, Z GOLD comprises of 40 hours classroom training as well as 40 hours of practical training. The Class A, C, Z SILVER comprising of 40 hours is also offered. The Class D, Z GOLD and Class A, Z BRONZE of 25 hours duration is also available for those who seek to refresh their skills.
