Career Connections Training Centre Inc., Surrey, BC, was established in 1993. It is accredited by the PCTIA. The staff at Career Connections Training Centre Inc. is highly trained and committed to providing excellent client service. The institution offers government-sponsored programs as well as programs that are designed to provide training for students to get jobs in private and non-profit sectors.
Career Connections Training Centre Inc. programs are designed to equip the students with the hands-on training experience; and because class sizes are small, students are ensured of personalized attention. The institution offers both daytime and evening classes. Computer programs such as MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS Power Point, MS Publisher, Internet, and Maximizer are offered. Computerized Accounting Programs such as Simply Accounting, QuickBooks and other programs such as Manual Accounting and Keyboarding are also offered.
Horticulture and Landscape Design Training is also offered. This program offers those seeking a career change and who love plants a chance to get trained for employment in lawn service companies, landscaping companies, turf farms and nurseries.
An Office Skills for Employment program is also offered, which many students find very useful. The Materials Handling Training Program helps students get prepared for employment as stock clerks and plant operators.
