CAREER SKILLS has been known to provide training to various organizations, government employees, businesses and individuals for more than twelve years. The initiative for CAREER SKILLS came about through the associated accounting business, MacIsaac Roche Soloman Burge. The partners of the business had proper information of how business process worked as well as what kind of talent most employers were on the lookout for. This realization led to the establishment and expansion of the Career Skills model of personalized training programs for businesses and organizations. The campus of CAREER SKILLS for the students was developed in the year 1994.
Apart from the core Diploma Programs, CAREER SKILLS also offers a number of tailored courses including Windows based training for word processing, spreadsheets, accounting software and exploring the Internet. CAREER SKILLS insist on holding classes in small batches. The courses do not take more than a year to complete. Every diploma program comes with an eight-week on-the-job training component. Every student has a computer to himself to ensure that each one has practical learning available. Once you enroll for a course in CAREER SKILLS, you get a free of cost membership to either the Atlantic Fitness Center or Curves. If not anything, you are sure to get a parking pass.
At CAREER SKILLS, you will have the opportunity to work at Island businesses as part of your curriculum. The college has very committed staff that are in constant touch with the corporates for the benefit of the students.
