The College Of Health Studies is certified and registered by the Ministry of Training Colleges and University Ontario as a Private Career College. It offers several diploma and certificate-level courses in various health and beauty-related subjects. Holistic education in subjects such as massage therapy, herbal health and beauty-related courses such as cosmetology, aromatherapy, hot stone massage therapy, manicure, pedicure, and waxing are also offered.
Some courses that are offered by the College Of Health Studies are Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Certified Addictions Worker, Intensive Behavioral Intervention Certificate, Certified Holistic Nurse, Certified Nutrition Consultant, Certified Herbal Practitioner, Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Spa Practitioner Diploma, Massage therapy Diploma, Esthetics Certificate, Personal Support Worker Diploma, P.S.W Bridging Diploma, Personal Attendant Diploma, and Certified Venepuncturist.
Students of the College Of Health Studies have to complete theory as well as 20 hours of practical training in the spa for the aesthetic diploma. The programs are offered full-time or part-time. Within 24 weeks, students can get set as professionally trained aestheticians, which can be an extremely rewarding career financially.
The classes are small and have a student/instructor ratio of 8/1 or a maximum of 10/1. The programs offered are flexible and can be taken during daytime, evening, or weekends and at times even through distance learning.
