The Mission Community Skills Center Society or Mission CSC runs training programs in business. The Mission Community Skills Center Society has campuses in Mission, Langley, Abbotsford and Aldergrove in British Columbia. The Mission Community Skills Center Society was established in 1995 and has provided vocational courses to hundreds of people since then. Apart from providing training, the Mission CSC also runs programs to help members of the community look for jobs. Its services are provided under the supervision of government agencies.
The courses at the Mission Community Skills Center Society are registered with the Private Career Training Instituitions Agency at British Columbia. Courses at the college include Peace Officer, Welding Level C, Framing Technician, and Electrical.
The Peace Officer program has a duration of 18 weeks and covers cultural awareness, crime prevention, communication skills, safety, legal, report writing, testimony, forensics and self defence. The Welding program trains students in certifications, safety, tools, first aid, communication and team building. The Framing Technician course is of 23 weeks and the Electrical Level course is a 10 week program.
The college also trains students in job search skills like writing resumes, interview tactics and cover letters.
