The Corona College was established in 1987 In Newfoundland. The college has two campuses that offer training in Hairstyling and Esthetics, as well as courses in Business, Technology and Health. The college aims to provide high quality education to students to enable them to enter the job market sooner. The Corona College diploma programs have been designed keeping in mind market realities, and aim to make students highly employable.
Small class size, flexible programs and reasonable tuition make training at the Corona College effective. The courses at the college are approved by the Department of Youth Services and Post-Secondary Education. Apart from courses related to the beauty industry, the Corona College also offers courses in Business, Graphic Design, Law, Literacy, Mining and Health. Term placements help students learn the details of working in real offices and work sites.
Students are offered services like science lab, library and the Internet. Student loan options are numerous, and the student can approach various organizations for financial assistance-Newfoundland Student Loan Services, Human Resources Development Canada and Human Resources and Employment.
