HBI (Halton Business Institute) College was founded in the year 1982. It is registered and approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The institution offers various programs that are offered both full and part-time. These programs can lead up to certificates and diplomas on successful graduation. Students are offered all levels of computer training and the institution also offers corporate training programs that can be customized to help organizations meet their goals. The institution has designed its curriculum with care to see to it that students are trained in the skills that are in demand in the market. HBI College comprises of the Faculty of Law and Security, Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Technology. The Faculty of Law and Security offers the Police Foundations Diploma Program four times a year. This 48 week program helps students to train for careers as police officers, as well as private investigators, correction officers etc. Faculty of Business helps train students in the administrative skills as well as offers several refresher programs to help those who wish to upgrade their skills. After graduation, students may seek employment in the administrative department of organizations. The Faculty of Technology offers students a huge selection of IT programs from basic to advanced levels. HBI College offers career counseling services as well as job placement assistance. Students are trained to ensure that they face their work environment with confidence and poise.
