The Institute of Ocean Careers is an institute for Scuba training. It imparts training in PADI Open water diver to PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. The Institute of Ocean Careers is a part of Frank White's Scuba Shop. Frank White's, set up in 1956, was one of the first dive centers in Canada. The institute is known for regularly updating and revising the course materials to keep up with current industry needs. In March 1994, Frank White's Scuba Shop was given the status of PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centre and a British Columbia Private Post Secondary Institution.
The institute is well known for its track record of successful graduates in the Instructors Examination (IE). After the program ends, if you still feel that you are not ready to take the exam or if you do not qualify in the exam, the staff provides extra counseling in your area of weakness and helps you to clear the exam. Once you successfully complete the course, there will be no dearth of jobs for you because the diving sector is booming.
