The International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Victoria, Canada was founded in 1988. This college offers specialized programs in Chinese medicine that are created according to guidelines of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. The ICTCMV is a private career college accredited by the PCTIA of British Columbia.
Students at The International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Victoria are prepared for licensing examinations in Canada, China and the Western world. The courses are of international standard and are recognized by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine in the United States. The College offers a five-year doctor’s course, a four-year medical practitioner’s course and three-year diplomas in acupuncture and herbalogy.
The courses at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Victoria have modules on Chinese traditional medicine on subjects like Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Herbology, Tui Na, and Qi Gong. The classes are held in both English and Mandarin by experienced doctors of Chinese medicine.
