John Paul International Academy is a bonded and registered trade school. It has been a member of Pivot Point International, which has been a leader in hair care and esthetics education for more than 30 years. The John Paul International Academy is registered and accredited with the Private Career Training Institutes Agency (PCTIA). The Academy is also a Schwarzkopf concept school.
The John Paul International Academy provides hair dressing programs that teach students and train them in such aspects as technical skills, business skills, marketing and mechanizing, and customer service. The instructors are highly trained and with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a professional salon. The students have to have a Grade 12 certificate or have a mature student status, and several financial aid schemes are available to help them.
The John Paul International Academy hairdressing programs are based on Pivot Point International training techniques as well as the Schwarzkopf concept school. The hairdressing is a 1500-hour, 10-month full-time program. The students are provided training in the technical aspects of hairdressing as well as client service techniques, thereby preparing the students well for the professional world.
