Liaison College was founded in 1996 and is located in the province of Ontario. It is a recognized Private Vocational School and is also affiliated to the Canadian Federation of Chefs & Cooks and the Canadian Chef Educators Association. The college offers a range of culinary and chef diploma programs and has the distinction of being the largest trainer of cooks and chefs in the province.
The maximum class size at Liaison College is 18 students per class. It currently has a 98% placement rate for its graduates, with students working in various capacities in places like restaurants, hotels and the catering business. All chef training programs are conducted by culinary professionals who aim to provide all students with the skill sets necessary to survive in the competitive restaurant and food services sector.
The Liaison College chef training programs teach students the duties of being a good chef, which include responsibilities like creating recipes, preparing menus and managing the kitchen and its staff. Students who already have experience in the culinary field may qualify for exemption from certain training classes.
