The college began functioning in 1986 as a school for hairstyling. Later, other courses were added to the curriculum. After completing the course, students can find jobs in the beauty industry or in the growing fashion industry. The hair design course at Martiere School of Hair Design and Esthetics uses theoretical teaching reinforced by practical experience to give students the knowledge of the latest styles and techniques in hair design. Some of the courses that are part of this program are bacteriology, hygiene, types of hair and scalp, shampooing, cutting, and different kinds of styling.
