The Metropolitan Community College provides courses in both academic and professional subjects. Students can choose from a wide range of training programs, tailored to cater to the current job market. The vibrant college atmosphere provides a place for learning as well as an exchange of ideas.
Programs at the Metropolitan Community College include Accounting Clerk Technician, Dental Assisting, English As Second Language, Business Management, Medical Laboratory Assisting, Paralegal, Bridging Unemployment, and Grief Counseling. These courses are accredited with the Cambridge International Examinations. In fact, the college is also a recognized center for teaching courses developed at the University of Cambridge International Examinations.
The Accounting Clerk Technician course makes graduates eligible for jobs as clerks and office assistants. Graduates of the counseling course work in group homes, rehabilitation centers, schools, and hospitals. The English As Second Language course is a means to conduct bridging programs for students who wish to attend public schools in Canada. These classes are also meant for immigrants who wish to better adapt to the country of their residence.
