Mid Ocean School of Media Arts is registered as a private career college and has been providing education and training in audio production for over a decade. The institution has three production rooms that are equipped with the latest in technology. Low student-teacher ratio is maintained by the institution to ensure that the students get individual attention to help them learn better.
Mid Ocean School of Media Arts adopts a curriculum that incorporates the latest trends and techniques that are taught using various teaching strategies to ensure that the students integrate into their work environment with confidence and competence. The students are given a solid foundation in rhythm, form, harmony and structure of music and are made to work on individual projects to encourage creativity.
The media program is full time with a duration of 6 months and helps students have successful careers after graduation in the fields of television, internet, films etc. The students work on various projects with the industry experts giving them real world experience and aiding them in securing entry level jobs in the field of audio production.
Programs such as Introduction to Home and Studio Recording, Introduction to Pro Tools and Music with Reason are offered as part-time evening courses comprising of 11 sessions of 3 hours duration. Class size is limited to four students.
