The Namao Flying Club is a non-profit organization offering training for budding and experienced pilots. The Club is located within the Villeneuve Airport in Alberta.
The focus of the Club is a career in the aviation industry. In all its programs, it emphasises hands-on practical experience and learning in a friendly and relaxed environment.
The Namao Flying Club offers programs for both beginners and experienced pilots. Beginners can avail of flying lessons and acquire licenses while more experienced pilots can use the facilities to gain knowledge and advance in their careers.
Through the Club, members can acquire a diverse range of licenses and ratings. Licenses for private and commercial pilots as well as permits for recreational pilots can be obtained. Ratings on offer are Multi Engine Rating, Night Rating and Multi Engine Institutional Rating (Group 1).
The Commercial Pilot Training is tax deductible and students can get Federal and Provincial funding for it. The Namao Flying Club is also approved for government student loans.
All the training programs at the Club are conducted by experienced and professionally trained instructors. The facilities include a spacious hangar, sim room, classrooms, briefing rooms, an office and a lounge.
A special feature of the Namao Flying Club is that members can get experience flying a number of different aircraft. The Club offers on-site fuelling services and experience in positioning aircraft around the facility. Apart from training in aviation, members can also rent aircrafts from the Club.
