Pacific Rim College is a government (PCTIA) accredited academic institution of complementary and integrative medicine located on Vancouver Island in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. The college was founded to provide world-class education, modern research opportunities and premiere clinical services in a variety of medical modalities. PRC offers Canada's most comprehensive selection of programs in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Phytotherapy (Western Herbal Medicine), Natural Health, Yogatherapy, Traditional Thai Massage, Ayurveda, Hellerwork and Japanese Acupuncture. PRC is a global educational provider with students from 6 continents and more than 20 countries. PRC offers year-round educational opportunities with an academic calendar based on 3 semesters per year. Enrolment into all multi-year programs is possible every January, May and September. By choosing their course load each semester, students may complete any semester on a part-time or a full-time basis. Students are also eligible to take individual courses in any discipline for personal enrichment. PRC’s tuition rates are very competitive, and international students pay the same tuition as domestic students. Additionally, the college offers scholarships to new and returning students, and Canadian students may apply for Canada Student Loans. The college’s campus is in a famous heritage structure in the heart of downtown. The college sits next to Victoria’s famous Inner Harbour and overlooks a large nineteenth century brick-paved courtyard that provides a perfect urban studying environment. Committed to supporting the spread of sustainable holistic health practices, PRC developed the Global Outreach Program (GOP), which allows students to complete clinical training in a variety of medical centres around the world while giving back to those in need. GOP externships exist in Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda and Nepal, and other clinics and partnerships are being developed elsewhere.
