Pitman Community College was established in 1898. It is British Columbia’s oldest private career training school. It is located in the heart of downtown Victoria, British Columbia. It specializes in providing career training education. It is accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of British Columbia. Full diploma programs are offered in Business, Healthcare, Hospitality, Administrative, and Computer training. All the programs are career-related and help in starting a career. The Medical Office Assistant Program prepares students for an exciting career in medical facilities. Students are taught the skills necessary to assist Lab Technicians, Physiotherapists, and Physicians. The curriculum is geared towards providing knowledge in fundamentals of accounting, computer applications, medical procedures, and workplace skills. The administrative programs teach students the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain an office environment.
