The Success College of Applied Arts & Technology was founded in 1893 and is based in the province of Nova Scotia. The college offers a range of training programs in law, health, applied arts and new media applied arts. The college currently has two campuses, one in Halifax and the other in Truro. Success College of Applied Arts & Technology holds interviews with all prospective students and determines the students’ goals are as well as their strengths, weaknesses. During the interview the college analyses where the prospective students see themselves after graduation. Taking these factors into consideration, the college helps find the course that is best suited for each of the students. The college currently has an 85% placement rate for its graduates. Success College of Applied Arts & Technology offers a wide range of diploma programs that cover 14 months, with classes being held from Monday to Thursday. There are three courses available in the field of law and justice, namely law and security, paralegal and a correctional and policing foundation course. There are a number of health and wellness courses as well, including programs in counseling, ophthalmic dispensing and pharmacy technician. Diploma programs are also available in business administration, interior decorating, travel and tourism as well as digital graphic design. Success College of Applied Arts & Technology recently participated in the 5th Annual Reach for the World Student Conference and emerged as the winner with its Travel and Tourism team of students.
