The college believes in producing quality results above all else. Vancouver Film School has been working intimately with The School of Television & Imaging and the Faculty of Duncan of Jordanstone to develop an exceptional link in education and commerce. It has collaborated to introduce a new MSc programme in Entertainment Production, designed and written by VFS and validated by the University of Dundee in Scotland. This thrilling new programme classifies 'entertainment production' as a process encompassing creative, technical, and transactional undertakings. It is designed to produce entertainment products for presentation in mass audience venues - film theatres, Internet, television, electronic packages (DVD/CDROM). Projects will include film, animation, broadcast media, interactive multimedia, creative and script writing, and sound design. Vancouver Film School believes that anyone can buy modern, high-end software or a dedicated post-production facility. But this does not necessarily culminate into awards and accolades. Neither does it send students to festivals around the world or get them jobs with Microsoft, Electronic Arts, and LucasFilm. Success is a result of a talented process.
