Established: 1981 (Formerly a part of Douglas College, Kwantlen University College was established after splitting from the former in 1981).

Kwantlen University College offers over 135 career, trades, and technology programs, many of which have co-op options available, leading to bachelor degrees, associate degrees, diplomas, certificates and citations. The College provides 14 bachelor degrees and 21 associate degrees, and upwards of 80 percent of the College’s programs provide opportunities for further studies leading to a bachelor degree at the College or at another post-secondary institution. The College is home to1 of Canada’s 2 fashion design degrees, the nation’s only graphic design for marketing program, and the South Fraser region of British Columbia’s only undergraduate journalism program. Additionally, the College affords students study abroad opportunities in partnered institutions in Finland, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan, and the United States.
Kwantlen University College is a world-renowned, comprehensive post-secondary institution offering undergraduate programs whose curriculum is industry-driven. The College has 4 campuses in Langley, Newton, Richmond, and Surrey, and it is under-going a $75 million expansion phase including the establishment of the Cloverdale Trades and Technology Centre.
