The New Brunswick College of Craft and Design offers 8 specialized programs in Applied Design, Fine Craft, and Visual Arts. The programs consist of 6 certificates, 1 Diploma in Fine Craft, which is the College’s major offering and provides students with the knowledge and skills required to become a professional creator, and 1 Bachelor of Applied Arts. The latter is a 4-year collaborative degree in which students earn credits for the first 2 years of study at the College before completing the degree at the University of New Brunswick.
Operated by the Department of Training and Employment Development, the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design’s main goal is to encourage ideas and impart knowledge in the areas of applied arts, fine craft, and visual to students. The College is a part of New Brunswick’s community college system.
