  • Law Clerk - Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology
    Algonquin College's 2-year Law Clerk diploma program prepares `graduates for employment as law clerks/legal assistants who are able to do independent legal work under the general direction of a lawyer.' The Program is delivered via 'four levels of 16 weeks each' during which participants will 'take a cross-section of courses in' various `types of law.' Students will also take classes that will equip them with 'the skills necessary to work in an office environment' as well as partake in work experience placements 'a law office.'

  • Law Clerk - Canadore College
    Canadore College's 2-year Law Clerk diploma program provides students with the knowledge and skills required for a wide range of careers in the legal field. The Program includes 'a comprehensive introduction to' the various areas of 'Canadian law' most applicable to the law clerk profession as well as training in 'general office administration and information technology' beneficial for success `in both traditional legal careers and non-traditional careers.'

  • Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario - Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology
    Centennial College offers 4 courses to enable individuals with 'a minimum of three years work experience in the legal field' to acquire the prerequisites to write the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO) membership examination. The courses offered include Civil Litigation, Corporate Law, Estates, and Real Estate. Upon successful completion of the courses students will be 'eligible to write the' ILCO examination to become an Associate member of the latter.

  • Law Clerk - Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology
    Centennial College's Law Clerk program provides participants with the 'practical and legal knowledge' to 'work in a law firm or government office.'     Durham College's 2-year Court and Tribunal Agent / Paralegal diploma equips students with the knowledge and skills required for a career as a court and tribunal agent/paralegal. In particular, students will develop the abilities to 'represent clients before' certain 'courts and tribunals,' as well as 'act as bylaw prosecutors, and handle summary conviction matters.'

  • Law Clerk - Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology
    Fanshawe College's 2-year Diploma in Law and Security Administration - Private Security will equip learners with a broad range of knowledge and skills required to work in 'a variety of careers' in the criminal justice field, particularly 'in the security sector (private and public).' Students will also undertake in-depth study of business practice.

  • Bachelor of Applied Arts - Paralegal Studies - Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning
    Holland College's 2-year, North American Wildlife Technology Association-accredited Wildlife Conservation Technology diploma prepares students for a career 'as wildlife technicians...in the field of fish and wildlife conservation.' Students will be exposed to 'the practical and theoretical aspects of wildlife conservation' through a combination of classroom, field, and laboratory-based activities.

  • Law Clerk - Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning
    Humber College's 2-year Court and Tribunal Agent diploma provides students with 'the specialized knowledge and skills' required for a career as a court and tribunal agent/paralegal, including advocacy, litigation, and research. Students will be trained 'in the Canadian and Ontario legal system' and explore the advocacy, procedural, and theoretical 'aspects of legal matters in which a person who is not a lawyer can be directly involved.

  • Law Clerk (Co-op) - Niagara College
    Niagara College's 2-year, 5-semester Law Clerk (Co-op) prepares students for a wide range of careers and/or further education in the legal field. Graduates will possess 'a solid grounding in legal basics, a high degree of attention to detail and the capacity to perform well in a demanding work environment.' Graduates will be eligible for membership the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO), 'the professional organization for Law Clerks.'

  • Law Clerk - Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology
    Seneca College's 2-year Law Clerk diploma prepares students to become law clerks able 'to assist lawyers in private law offices and in the legal departments of government and industry.' The Program will include a focus on those areas of Canadian law most applicable to the law clerk profession. Graduates will be eligible to become an associate level member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO), 'the professional organization for Law Clerks'

  • Law Clerk - Accelerated - Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology
    Seneca College's 12-month Accelerated Law Clerk diploma prepares students to become law clerks able 'to assist lawyers in private law offices and in the legal departments of government and industry.' The Program is a condensed version of the 2-year Law Clerk diploma and 'is designed for students who can demonstrate that they have previously achieved the academic equivalents of four general education credits and EAC 150' (College English).

  • Law Clerks Certification Program - Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning
    Sheridan Institute's Law Clerks Certification Program is 'designed to enhance the skills of current clerks, expand the knowledge of experienced legal secretaries, and provide a foundation for those with at least three years legal experience moving into a law clerk career.' The Program consists of 4 intense courses, usually completed at a pace of 1 class per semester due to their intense nature.

  • Specialized Civil Law Enforcement - Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning
    Sheridan Institute's Specialized Civil Law Enforcement program is designed for individuals who want to enhance their respective 'legal education and become a greater asset to law firms, paralegal firms, the bailiff's profession and the legal departments of commercial property management companies.' The Program focuses on specialized training regarding 'alternative remedies to a creditor litigating against a debtor' and on 'remedies available to municipal government in cases of default on business taxes.'

  • Law Clerk - Sir Sandford Fleming College
    Sir Sandford Fleming College's 2-year Law Clerk diploma prepares students for a career in the legal field, and related areas, particularly in the law clerk profession. The Program 'shares three semesters with the Court and Tribunal Agent program.' As a result, graduates of the Law Clerk program may take an 'additional semester of study and receive a second diploma in the Court and Tribunal Agent program.'

  • Law Clerk - St. Clair College
    St. Clair College's 2-year Law Clerk diploma prepares students for a wide range of careers in the legal field, particularly as law clerks. The Program will focus on those areas of Canadian law most applicable to the law clerk profession and will also equip learners with the abilities in the areas of office administration and information technology as they relate to the law clerk field.

    St. Lawrence College 2-year Law Clerk diploma has, as its primary objective, 'to develop law clerks who can assist practising lawyers in the day-to-day routine of their primary functions of advising and advocacy.'
