Overview

Join the dynamic team of guides who make the Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site a fun & fascinating place to visit...and work! We need positive, enthusiastic individuals with great communication skills and a love of learning. Must be physically fit and able to get up a hill with a pack of adoring fans behind them. We are looking for a self-motivated crew that knows what needs to be done, and does it...without a written invitation. This job involves a lot of time outside in the sunny Canadian Badlands as well as in small, dark places such as on our underground tunnel! Job term: April 29th - Sept. 2nd 2013 Full time


Responsibilities

Amaze visitors with your stellar tunnel, tipple, and train tours. Use your unique talents to enliven each program. In addition, interpreters run the information desk, and keep the site tidy.


Experience and Qualifications

Must have at least one year post secondary education, and plan to return to school in the fall. Background in history, education, geography, leisure studies, ecotourism, engineering, or performing arts an asset. A valid driver's licence is a must. A car is an asset as we are located 15 minutes east of Drumheller.
