Responsibilities

The Sales Representative has the responsibility to maximize the commercial potential of the territory, to grow his / her territory sales to reach and surpass the sales objectives through existing and potential customers for all of the company's products.

  • Visit and service existing and potential customers. During 80% these sales calls assure optimal sales, ideal product placement, technical training of all the customers sales associates on the features and benefits of all Bio-K+ products and assure a positive and professional image of Bio-K+ International. Plan your work and work your plan.
  • File all required reporting according to company standards 20% in time.
  • Attend trade shows
  • Keep the company informed of all developments in the industry i.e. competitors, advertising campaigns, new entrants in the industry, etc. PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITIES
  • Assures sales performance at all times
  • Reflects a positive image of the company at all times
  • Assures the best possible placement of the company's products in all retail outlets
  • Assures proper stock rotation and impeccable product quality on the shelf
  • Assures shipping performance and on time delivery
  • Assures optimal territory coverage
  • Organizes existing and prospective accounts in A, B, C, D categories of importance
  • Visits each account on a predetermined rotation
  • Maintains flawless customer records including contact persons, addresses, phone, fax, e-mail, opening hours, ideal visiting hours and all pertinent additional information.
  • Files all required reporting according to company standards
  • Keeps the company abreast of all new developments in the industry and the territory
  • Actively searches for new possible customers within the territory
  • Maintains flawless product and technical knowledge on all the company"s products
  • Maintains good knowledge of competitors products and policies
  • Actively searches out help and coaching for all aspects of its work needing improvement
  • Maintains open communication with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Shares experience with team-members
  • Submits suggestions at all times
  • Organizes coop-advertising with its customers according to company policy
  • Organizes product demos according to company policy
  • Other projects and duties may be assigned by the Regional Sales Manager

  • Experience and Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE TANGIBLE CRITERIA (qualifications): University degree in science or business management or equivalent experience; 3 years of pertinent sales experience; Science, Natural products and banner experience is privileged; Other knowledge: Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. General computer skills. Knowledge of contact management software is an asset. Spoken and written English is mandatory. French speaking and written is an asset. Maintains a valid driver's license INTANGIBLE CRITERIA :
