Building Insight Technologies a 'building science company' is looking to hire and train (if necessary) full time Certified Energy Advisors in the Lower Mainland, Kamloops and Nanaimo area. We have delivered more than 75,000 home-energy audits across Canada since 1997. For more details about our company, please visit us at Through initiatives such as the federal government ecoENERGY Retrofit program and LiveSmart BC, Canadians now have the tools necessary to make environmentally sound decisions and save money at the same time. You will help homeowners access these tools and grants of up to $12,000. Building Insight Technologies Inc.


Responsibilities: conduct a blower door test (for air leakage) measure and describe the house and its equipment accurately take pictures with a digital camera perform energy-savings demonstrations for homeowners discuss customer renovation plans and options help homeowners complete grant forms.

Experience and Qualifications

Qualifications: knowledge of house construction terminology required. positive, customer friendly attitude punctual for preset appointment times perform work in a timely, organized fashion acceptable spoken and written English required, second language helpful must have acceptable car or truck must be willing to travel to surrounding communities computer literate We can provide all necessary training and air testing equipment if needed. A six-day training course will be held in Vancouver in August. Participants must write and pass the advisor exam. Successful candidates will then conduct 5 unsupervised and 2 supervised evaluations in your area of residence, which will be reviewed prior to commencing a probationary period.
