Learning Accommodation Services Assistant - Concordia University College of Alberta

Overview

The Student Affairs Department of Concordia University College of Alberta invites applications for the position of Learning Accommodation Services Assistant.

Responsibilities

A large component of this permanent, full-time position will be dedicated to coordinating exam accommodations for students accessing Concordia's Learning Accommodation Services. S/he will also be responsible for maintaining our database and managing the Student Affairs website. They will interact with faculty, staff, and students as well as outside agencies. Administration, reception and management of front-line student assistance for Student Affairs are also integral parts of this position.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in social sciences or education complemented with strong research and organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written, and website and database management experience. Awareness of disabilities, provincial Students Finance programs and familiarity in a post-secondary institution is an asset.
