We're talking about real conversations with businesses to root out what their goals and needs are. Are you willing to be as tenacious and as loyal as the big dog that comes to our office (He wanted his picture on here, but the posting wouldn't let us!)? We are a consumer tradeshow company and we need a Customer Service Superstar/Sales Strategist. We are a bunch of hard workers who are big on personal accountability (no passing the buck!). We know what it takes to get the job done, and we are willing to put it in as individuals and as a team. All personal baggage gets left at the door when we come in each morning. ? Generate revenue through booth and sponsorship sales ? Consistently make 75+ smart phone calls per day ? Distribute applications ? Represent the company with its best interests, first and foremost, at all times ? Meet regularly with Sales Manager to establish and review targets for each Show ? Attend other tradeshows, farmer's markets and similar events to source new leads, as requested ? Provide Sales Manager with regular progress reports and timely updates on potential exhibitors or sponsors ? Work onsite at all shows, in whatever capacity is required ? Participate in proofing and editing as required ? Encourage co-workers in a positive supportive manner while maintaining a professional relationship ? Review all booths during set up and prior to opening to ensure that there are no inappropriate displays. Monitor contest/draw entry forms, and exhibitor activities ? Coordinate with other team members to ensure that all commitments to sponsors are fulfilled ? Build positive relationships with customers on behalf of company ? Keep meticulous notes in customer files ? Follow-up with clients, ensuring all their needs are met ? Ascertain whether or not a potential lead truly fits within the database ? Respectful and honest contribution of ideas and information to the company & team ? Keep office neat, clean and organized.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum Education: Completion of High School (University education an asset) Applicant must have: Exceptional customer service, pleasant phone manner, superb writing skills, ability to multitask, ability to work within pre-set time limits.
