Overview The House of Commons Administration offers an attractive working environment through assignments in the majestic Parliament Buildings and its multidisciplinary teams. The Refinisher is responsible for refinishing furniture and applying stains, sealers, fillers, lacquers and other refinishing and restoration products on new and used furniture of the House of Commons, including heritage pieces; providing an evaluation of the condition and conservation value of furnishings of specific rooms of the House of Commons and inventoried furniture; providing on-site touch ups to meet the maintenance requirements of the House of Commons.
