Overview The successful candidate will have a strong background and interest in teaching social theory, and expertise in either health and illness, social justice/criminology, or globalization/popular culture. A Ph.D in Sociology is required. Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, sample course outline for Soci 2111 - Perspectives in Social Thought (our 2nd year theory course), a sample outline for a course in the area of the applicant's additional expertise, and teaching evaluations.
