Overview Currently we have a number of Java developer positions available working on projects in the following areas: Integration and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Custom web applications and reporting Messaging systems and custom routing Build automation and batch processing You will work as part of a distributed team, including team members at our locations within Canada as well as with offshore resources. Your work will include a range of duties, including: Working with the client and senior architect to design and build custom integration and messaging components Work with Middleware360 architects to evolve our core integration framework Work on a variety of web application, reporting and data analysis projects Provide support and problem resolution for production systems The job location is flexible - we currently do business in Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria. This opportunity will involve working on-site at the client's location and remotely from home. We provide a competitive salary and flexible working hours. Occasional travel within Canada is required.

Experience and Qualifications Looking for a solid Java/J2EE developer with 3-5 years solid experience in systems integration, with demonstrated experience in at least 2 of the following areas: Spring Framework / CDI Java-based Web technologies: Grails / Spring MVC Java-based Integration technologies: JMS / Camel / Spring Integration / MuleSoft Database technologies: SQL / Hibernate / JPA / MyBatis In addition we will give consideration to candidates who have experience in the following areas: Commercial Integration Brokers: Sonic / Websphere Message Broker Big Data Technologies: Hadoop / MongoDB / Cassandra JavaScript technologies: AngularJS / Backbone.js / jQuery Microsoft technologies: .NET / SQL Server / IIS / BizTalk SalesForce (or other SAAS) Integration
