NYIT seeks a Director of Marketing and Recruitment who will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and student recruitment at our Vancouver, Canada campus. Under the supervision of the Vice President for Marketing and Admissions in New York and working closely with the NYIT-Vancouver Campus Dean, the successful candidate will develop marketing and recruitment strategies for local, national and international markets that will expand the enrollment of the Vancouver Campus. In collaboration with the Vancouver Dean and NYIT Global Programs, the ideal candidate will identify new and existing venues for marketing and expanding NYIT's brand awareness as well as fostering relationships with vendors and partners that contribute to the sustainable growth of the Vancouver Campus. He/she will provide the necessary leadership and recruitment expertise in support of the recruitment and administrative functions of the Office of Admissions, Vancouver. This position will also be responsible for training staff in recruitment of prospective students as well as serving as a liaison with academic departments. The position will be based in Vancouver and will require extensive recruitment travels overseas.

Experience and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree required and a Master's degree is preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience working in higher education admissions, within the British Columbia market place is required. Excellent communication, organization and multitasking skills are critical to the position. Must be eligible to work in and travel outside Canada. Experience with Student Information Systems (Datatel preferred), data management tools and Microsoft Office Suite required, as is the flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
