Overview

Pricing Manager Position available in the Fraser Valley of BC. This position is with an excellent company in the educational resource space. They have a family of brands created to enable educators to help students succeed. For more than 20 years, they worked hand-in-hand with educators and curriculum experts to develop products and services based on real life classroom experiences and outcomes. Qualifications include a BA required Prefer: MBA with Minimum 3-5 years in comparable position.

Position Summary:

  • The primary role of the Pricing Manger is to support the Director of Marketing.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for the development of key trends; budget management as well monthly margin reviews with pricing recommendations; as well as internal department follow up as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
  • High level of computer skills
  • Detail oriented multi-tasker committed to excellence.
  • The position will be providing tracking and reporting of product pricing and ensuring that pricing plans are in place to achieve targeted margin levels, as well as maintaining Pricing item data files (Oracle).
  • The office is an extremely busy facility with minimum supervision.
  • Exceptional communication abilities with customers, coworkers and supervisor
  • Provide support for assigned Director of Marketing
  • Maintains National trade/pricing schedule
  • Maintenance and coordination of internal mail files and customer databases ensuring information is accurate and concise.
  • Develop Budgets in alignment with the Director of Marketing
  • Updates volume versus Forecast. Tracks all relevant budgets with Finance.
  • Assist with the evaluation of Bid margin management.
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • High level of computer skills including MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, etc.Creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
  • Format PowerPoint presentations

  • Experience and Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Accounting or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years exp in comparable job
