Responsibilities

Duties Include - Foot patrol of all buildings both interior and exterior - 2 way radio use and professionalism - Responding to Alarms and people whom require assistance - Monitoring access control - Collect physical and verbal evidence of misconduct or crime - Monitoring situations, cameras, property and events - Offer support to any person in need of assistance - Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders


Experience and Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications Required - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (evenings/weekends/days) - Skills to deal with challenges and communicate effectively - Must be physically able to walk 18 - 20 km/day - Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain proper records - Ability to make quick decisions in emergency response situations with minimal supervision - Carry out written and verbal instructions - Valid driver's license and valid security license are considered assets - Ability to handle private and information with a high amount of discretion - Must be bondable - Basic knowledge of security procedures, handling violent behaviours, and non-defensive communication - High School Diploma - Must be 19 years of age
