Overview SaskPower is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer with Power Utility experience and familiarity/experience with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) reliability standards and regulatory compliance. This position is responsible for assisting with and/or preparing business cases and all documents required for the analysis and adoption of NERC Reliability Operating and Planning Standards applicable to bulk power system, and any other reliability standards as applicable to SaskPower bulk power system. This position will also maintain working relationships with external entities such as local and federal law enforcement, other government or government-authorized agencies, Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO), NERC and members of the Canadian Electrical Association (CEA).

Experience and Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have a university degree in electrical engineering with Power Utility experience and must be eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS). You also have more than 4 years of relative engineering experience and possess strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and have the ability to lead projects in a changing environment.
