We're looking for energetic, innovative and highly motivated electrical engineers to work with the team of professionals responsible for the construction, commissioning of one of the first and largest integrated clean coal/carbon capture projects in the world. These positions will be based in Regina and will temporarily relocate to Estevan in 2013 to oversee and coordinate all electrical aspects of the CO2 Capture Island and the Boundary Dam Unit 3 Power Island projects. Our successful candidates will play a key role in the design, construction and commissioning and start up activities of the Boundary Dam Integrated Carbon Capture and Sequestration project. Upon completion of work on the Boundary Dam ICCS Demonstration project, SaskPower anticipates that you will be assigned to a permanent position in the same pay level to an available position within SaskPower in the Regina area which will allow the Corporation to make the best use of your skills and abilities.


Experience and Qualifications

Your qualifications include a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and, you must be eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. You possess engineering experience in planning facilities, providing design, construction and commissioning leadership and support to achieve goals. You are an innovative thinker with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions. You are known for your strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead and coordinate multiple large projects.
