Overview

SaskPower is looking for a Specialist, Construction Lines - Contracts to provide subject matter expertise and administration of project contract preparation, evaluation, negotiation and finalization during negotiation stage. The successful applicant will also be responsible for all administrative activities related to contractual engagement with the contractor during project execution.

Experience and Qualifications

Successful applicants will have a university degree in electrical engineering or a diploma in electrical engineering technology, must be eligible for related professional membership or certification and possess 5 years related experience in change/claim management. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical, research and problem solving skills; and, the ability to work effectively in a changing environment. Preference will be given to candidates with transmission lines design and/or transmission lines construction experience. A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
