Overview In charge of developing standards of service and delivery of all meetings and food/beverage functions of the banquet hall and convention centre. Develop and administer control of costs for food production. Develop sales and marketing strategies for booking of events.

Responsibilities Contact person for booking of events. Timely and professional delivery of booked functions Maximization of profitability and overall success of functions by controling costs and offering quality service Handle client complaints Ensure customer satisfaction Proper bookkeeping of costs, inventory cash collections and remittances to financial administrator on a timely basis Co-ordinate room set-ups General housekeeping of department Monitor staff of Kitchen Manager, Assistant Kitchen Manager and Servers Assist kitchen manager in menu planning Discipline of personnel when required

Experience and Qualifications Certificate or Diploma in hospitality, hotel & restaurant business management Some relevant experience in management
