Reporting to the District Sales Manager, the Retail Representative is accountable for achieving established merchandising objectives for an assigned area through effective distribution of our brands, selling in retail programs, effective utilization of shelf space, and securing secondary display locations in store. Key Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Contribute to the achievement of established sales targets through selling in retail programs and meeting distribution targets.
  • Contribute to the growth of Unilever by securing increased shelf facings and obtaining secondary display activity at retail.
  • Maintain sound interpersonal relationships with store management and staff to ensure the optimum level of co-operation in the movement of our brands.
  • Contribute to sound decision making and growth by providing feedback on opportunities at retail and competitive information.

  • Experience and Qualifications

    Candidate should possess excellent oral/written communication skills and computer skills primarily in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Windows environment. Previous experience in selling and a post-secondary education would be an asset. A high energy level, a sense of urgency and drive are essential for this position. In addition, all candidates must possess a valid driver's license, which is in good standing, and a reliable motor vehicle. This position requires some travel on a regular basis.
