Description of Ability Society The Ability Society is a non for profit agency that looks to assist children and adults with special needs. Our goal is to ensure that all children and adults with special needs and seniors have the opportunity to gain a higher quality of life and become active participants in their community. We achieve this goal by providing specially adapted equipment and strategies, which allows these individuals to pursue opportunities in areas such as citizenship, education, living independently, or volunteerism.The Ability Society assists 1500 individuals per year, of which 500 of them are children. Through our Early Birds Program, we are able to assist children with disabilities and their families who have contracts with FSCD.
