Many of the Faculty's graduates have gone on to distinguished careers as academics, lawyers, scholars, judges and justices, including at the Supreme Court of Canada, and politicians, among other professions. Among the Faculty's more notable alumni are former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin and former Ontario premier Bob Rae. The Faculty's Career Development Office (CDO) is committed to assisting 'students as they prepare for the challenge of securing legal and law-related positions' through the provision of various services throughout the year. Such services include 'personal guidance and training for students seeking summer employment and articling positions...workshops on resume writing and interview skills...programs, delivered by external consultants, in the areas of networking, business etiquette, and career choice,' and affording 'guides to summer employment, clerkships, articling positions, and public interest employment.'
