Athabasca University's Master of Business Administration for Certified Management Accountants (MBA-CMA) is a 24-month program, delivered primarily online, designed for professional CMAs with previous managerial experience. The Program will expose students to a fundamental core of business and management basics and disciplines while allowing participants to pursue a generalized MBA or concentrate their respective programs in a particular area of interest, including Information Technology Management or Project Management. The Program's finale consists of an applied project on a specific topic that the student chooses in consultation with 'an academic supervisor;' this project affords the student 'the opportunity to apply the program's key concepts to a real-life business situation of particular interest to' the student.
