Brock University's Off-Campus International Master of Accountancy (OC-IMAcc) is offered at Shanghai University in China, but taught by Brock University professors, and is designed for 'Chinese financial and accounting professionals to master international financial reporting standards.' The Program not only aims to provide students with the academic knowledge that will increase their respective opportunities in the accounting profession but it also provides them with the professional skills needed for success including strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, the ability to understand and consider ethical concerns, and the ability to 'adapt and respond to a complex changing business environment.' Applicants who possess 'the equivalent of a Canadian university honours undergraduate degree with at least second-class standing' but who do not have an accounting concentration may still be considered for admittance to the OC-IMAcc provided they have significant professional work experience in accounting. |
