McGill University's Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy (CA) program is designed to provide students 'with professional training on the latest CA concepts and practice-related issues' required 'to succeed in a CA career.' The Program requires that students undertake a 24-month 'apprenticeship with a recognized "Maetre Stagiaire" CA firm which may be undertaken 'concurrently with the Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy or any time after commencing the program.' Upon graduation, students will be eligible to write the National Chartered Accountancy Certification Exam (the Uniform Final Examination).
