Offered jointly by the University of Alberta's School of Business and Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Home Economics the combined Master of Business Administration/Master of Forestry (MBA/MF) degree is a flexible yet rigorous program that may be completed within 2 years on a full-time basis or 6 years on a part-time schedule. The Program is primarily geared towards individuals who aspire to careers as managers in the forestry industry and will expose students to 'a strong foundation in management fundamentals with leading edge practices in the science of forestry' and develop students' abilities 'to blend theory and practice to solve real-world problems' such as integrated resource management and sustainable development. To complete the Program, students will have the option 'of taking a business strategy course, a business practicum, a project or a summer internship.'
