Dalhousie UniversityThe Faculty of Management at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada’s premier providers of education in Management, and its traditional strengths has been in finance, informational technology, international business, and marketing. The Faculty is comprised of four schools, including Business Administration, Information Management, Public Administration, and Resource and Environmental Studies. Each School occupies its own specialized intellectual niche but together the Schools offer students a unique interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary academic approach to education and research called 'Management Without Borders.' The latter, the Faculty of Management states, 'is unique and reflects today's environment, which requires that managers be knowledgeable about different fields, willing to cross boundaries, and skilled in making appropriate decisions.' |
